The Tradition of Customer Information and Customer Protection

Our mentor in the tradition behind the Tea Campaign is Gottlieb Duttweiler, founder of the Migros stores in Switzerland. Duttweiler felt obliged to the relationship between the customer and the service provided, and valued honesty about the product very highly. He successfully combined social demands with elements from the business market, which attracted criticism from socialists as well as from business people. Socialists accused him of ruining their concepts, and businesses accused him of ruining their prices.
